Heat the Pig Liver - Dengeki Bunko 30th Anniversary ABEMA News

Hey everyone, it looks like quite a bit of news about the anime adaptation of Heat the Pig Liver has dropped, most of which you can find on its website.  To start, here's the first PV!  And as written in the video title and announced during the broadcast, it will air in October of this year.

Next, here's the new key visual which looks really nice!

It also has the subtitle "Please stay with me forever, Mister Pig.", which you can find by going to the anime homepage or checking their twitter posts.

And finally, there's the character visuals for Jess and Mister Pig.  You can find this in a higher resolution on the anime site's character page.

"Observe, Jess-taso!  This is what it means to be a man!"

He's an unremarkable otaku who ate pig liver raw and was transferred to another world.

Though he can't use any magic or swords, he'll use the knowledge and wits he cultivated as a college engineering student to get them out of a pinch.

The appearance of a livestock, and the intellect of an otaku.  His name in either case is Scrawny Four-Eyed Shitty Virgin!

*There was a Detective Conan reference in Mister Pig's character page description.  Did you catch it?  Here's the line it's referencing:
    - The appearance of a child, and the intellect of an adult.  His name is Detective Conan!

"I will give Mister Pig a spanking!"

She is from a race known as Yesmas who can read people's minds.
She works as a maid at a lord's mansion, and rescued the pig that was covered in mud inside a pigpen.
She's a cute, blond, angelic girl who shyly tries to fulfill the pig's delusion-filled thoughts.

One last thing I wanted to mention is that they confirmed volume 8 of the light novel and volume 5 of the manga adaptation will be published some time this autumn (the manga illustration looks new, I'm guessing it's the cover, but it could also be the preorder bonus).

Volume 8's release date has been confirmed to be on 10/6 thanks to the preorder pages from Gamers and Animate.  This is most likely to coincide with the anime airing around the same month.
