Afterword
Once upon a time, there were three virgins at a
certain somewhere.
One was a hot-blooded virgin who lived doing what he
wanted to do earnestly. He excelled in
martial arts, was very brave, and was popular with everyone. However, he didn’t have a lover.
Another was a serious-minded virgin who lived doing
what he should do quietly. Though he
possessed mysterious powers, he was humble and respected by all. However, he didn’t have a lover.
The last person was hard-working virgin who lived giving it his all doing what he could do. He didn’t excel at martial arts, nor did he possess any mysterious powers. That’s why he relied on racking his brain to live. Even so, he didn’t have a lover. In fact, he never had a lover.
These three virgins were on bad terms with each other
and would always quarrel. Because what
they wanted to do, what they should do, and what they can do, were usually not
the same.
One day, the princess of that country was kidnapped by
a monster. It was an extremely powerful
and terrifying monster that often caused trouble for the country. The monster held the princess hostage and
demanded that the throne be handed over.
The king heard the reputation of the three virgins, and consulted them.
“It’s all the monster’s fault. I’ll go and kill him.” said the hot-blooded virgin.
The serious-minded virgin had a different opinion.
“You can’t put the princess’ life in danger. We should save the princess first.”
Then the hard-working virgin suggested this.
“Under these circumstances where we can’t kill the
terrifying monster, and there’s no way of saving the princess while
guaranteeing her safety, why not just hand over the throne to the monster?”
After a heated discussion, the king decided to
surrender the castle to the monster. The
monster then entered the majestic castle as if it was its own and declared that
it would take the princess as its wife.
On their wedding night, the monster tried to kiss the
unwilling princess.
That’s when a loud noise came from the castle, and it
came crumbling down like building blocks, crushing the unsuspecting
monster. The king and the others had set
a trap.
However, the terrifying monster wasn’t dead. Despite being seriously injured, it
desperately dug up the rubble in search of the princess. The virgin who excelled at martial arts then
took that opening to cut off the monster’s head.
On the other hand, the princess was safe. The virgin with mysterious powers was
protecting the princess from the rubble.
Thus, the princess was able to return to the king.
It was the virgin who racked his brain to live that
had figured out the monster’s personality and devised this plan. He gave it his all thinking about what he
could do, and persuaded the king and the other two virgins.
The king greatly appreciated the three and expressed
that he would give one of them the right to marry the princess.
But none of them tried to make the princess their own;
because they’re virgins.
“I have no interest in this woman. Ask someone else.”
“The princess should marry who she wants to
marry. I doubt she wants to be treated
as a reward.”
“I’m personally not worthy of being with the
princess. Forget it.”
The king and princess favored the three virgins very
much, so they were appointed as the princess’ attendants to solve numerous
difficult problems.
The princess said this:
“When the three of you work together towards a single
goal, you can achieve really great things.
When everyone shares the same passion to do what they want to do, the
conscience to do what they should do, and the rationality to do what they can
do, I start hearing a very beautiful melody playing from the three of you.”
“How that can be?”
The three virgins denied in sync.
Many things happened since then, but thanks to the virgins’
actions, the princess’ country became a prosperous place for quite some time.
They lived happily ever after.
(What the hell did I just write…?)
Let’s start from the beginning again… Long time no see, this is Sakai Takuma. Since volume 1, I’ve had a bad habit of
ending the story with a hook and making my readers wait a long time for the
follow-up. I’m really sorry for
that. It’s been four months since the
sale of volume 2, and I’m very happy to be able to release volume 3.
First, there’s something I would like to report. After volume 2 came out, Dengeki Maoh began
the comic serialization of Heat the Pig Liver!
Minami Sensei is in charge of the manga.
Have you all seen it yet? The
drawings are so cute, they’ll definitely make you oink with excitement.
Please just try and think about it. You’ll be able to Jess’ face every time you
turn the pages.
Those who haven’t read it yet, please give it a try
and search for 「豚のレバーは加熱しろ 漫画」 (Heat the Pig Liver
Manga).
Now then, usually I would write my thoughts and other
stuff from when I was writing into the afterword, but in the case of volume 3,
the most powerful pervert in the work has already said most of what I wanted to
say. (Please keep in mind that the
author himself is not a pervert.
However, he will admit that he likes little sisters.)
So although I’m repeating these words each time, I
would like to extend my thanks to everyone again. To my editor, Anan, who would
enthusiastically think about the story alongside me; to the illustrator,
Tohsaka, who responded to the author’s semi-personal tastes with wonderful
illustrations; to Minami, who makes me look forward to each month with the best
comicalization; and to everyone who has been involved in Pig Liver. Most importantly, thank you to all the
readers who have followed us this far.
Truly, thank you very much.
Thanks to everyone, I had a lot of fun writing volume
3. Please continue to support us.
